10.23.2023 Support for iOS 17.

We've incorporated iOS 17 compatibility into all of our applications. Due to the alterations in iOS 17, all battery tests will now have extended durations compared to previous versions. Currently, we do not possess the means to alter this situation.

10.09.2023 Apple's response on it's iOS 17 change that breaks all battery reporting apps.

We've received a response from Apple regarding the modification introduced in iOS 17, that breaks battery monitoring functionality for all current iOS apps. Apple has classified this change as planned and not a bug, with no plans to alter it. Unfortunately, this poses a significant challenge for apps using this functionality, particularly given that iOS 10 had already restricted access to advanced battery and charging APIs.

Despite our attempts to engage Apple in discussions, we haven't been able to sway their decision. Therefore, we regret to inform you that until further notice, Criosoft apps will not be compatible with iOS 17.

Apple iOS 17 breaks battery reporting apps.

With the launch of iOS 17, a significant concern has emerged. In a move aimed at further restricting developer access to battery information, Apple has altered the method through which developers retrieve battery charge data. Consequently, all existing battery monitoring and reporting applications will experience operational issues when used with iOS 17. We have initiated communication with Apple to address this matter and are hopeful for a resolution. In the absence of a resolution, we recommend refraining from updating to iOS 17 unless absolutely necessary.
